Chemical Stress to your body includes all the chemicals that get into your system i.e. air and water pollution, prescription and over the counter medication, vaccinations, smoking or breathing in second hand smoke … but the biggest chemical stress we have on an ongoing basis is the food we eat – refined and processed foods, artificial sweeteners, white sugar, white flour, soda, junk food …

Physical stressors include accidents, injuries, falls, traumas and Heavy backpacks & purses but our greates ongoing physical stressors are Lack of activity (sedentary lifestyle) and Poor Posture.
Our bodies tend not to wear out, they rust out. Sitting at computers all day, working long hours, running the kids around all leaves us no time to exercise, go out for walks with our loved ones, do the activities we love to do.
You must MAKE THE TIME to be active. I love yoga because it provides strength training, stretching, cardiovascular exercise and a wonderful spiritual component but it does not matter if you are playing sports, dancing or going out for a daily walk. Your body needs movement to be healthy and it is up to you to make sure that happens.

You can get up from a junk food meal and reduce your chemical stress. You can straighten up your posture and move around to reduce your physical stress.
